We were driving back from picking up Clint from work the other day and realized Patataya(the neighborhood Thai restaurant) was closed! There was a sign "closed, new management". The thing is this family of like 4 people owned the joint so we aren't sure whats going on. It is awesome food though. It's just a 6 table, hole in the wall place. If you want something to drink they take it out of the fridge in the dining room. It's small, but awesome! A dude takes your order and there is a cook in the back that throws it together and it is awesome! It's always crowded. we usually have to wait half an hour or so to get our food because they cook it as you order it so you wait you have to wait your turn.
It's our go to take out place! hope it opens back up soon!!
In the mean time we checked out this other Thai place(there are allot of them, like Mexican places in OK) it was kinda scary. They also sold used DVDs and cigarettes in a see through glass shelf. The food was not so good. oh well
Locke is really taking interest to the slide outside. Clint took him on and let him go down by himself.....he came down upside down. OH well he is learning
internet is up but who knows how long so typing fast - hey backwards down the slide is the BEST!!!! alot more excitement - anyways is that the place we ate when i was there and it was soo good? right by where you live? thats a bummer - i knew papa taco would really like it - oh well there is more good places - luv you guys gma t
